Saturday 8 June - Quiz - Tickets £6, on sale soon.
Saturday 22 June - Book Sale/Freecycle - Big Book Sale and Freecycle Event, 9 a.m - 12.30 p.m.. There will be a very large
range of books on offer, most on sale for under £1. All proceeds go towards maintaining Winscombe Community Centre. If you would like to donate books for the sale please bring them to the Centre. If you would like to have your books collected please phone 01934 823609. For more details on Freecycling see the 'Clubs and Organisations' page, or call 01934 844235. You may bring anything you think may be useful to others and take anything useful to you for free. Anything that does not go must be removed at midday.
Wednesday 26 June - AGM - 7.30 p.m, Community Centre.
The speaker will be Professor Phillip Duffus, former Dean of Veterinary Science at The University of Bristol Veterinary College, Langford. His topic will be "Tales from an Itinerant Twitcher - the amazing things that can happen to a bird watcher".
Please put the date in your diary as it promises to be an entertaining evening.
Friday 12th July - Concert by West Mendip Orchestra at Sidcot Meeting House
Friday 19 July - Summer Coach Trip - To Dartmouth via Totnes. Tickets £15. The coach will leave Winscombe at 8.30 and stop at Totnes before continuing to Dartmouth. The return journey will leave Dartmouth at 4.00 p.m..
Saturday 14 September - Michaelmas Fair 1.45 p.m.
Saturday 28 September - Jumble Sale 2 p.m.
